Bring Inspira EMS to Middle Township. Let them take over both the paid and the volunteer side. It is time for us as employees to actually get paid real wages for what we do. Thirteen to fifteen dollars an hour is not even cutting it these days. Middle pays very poorly for a township run EMS department. Plus, we are wasting money by giving it to the volunteer squad who is also short staffed and has trouble getting out to calls. I for one have already applied to Inspira. No matter what, I know I will get paid well and have the best equipment. They actually seem to care about their people.
