Anyone who has fished for many years knows that fishing is a shadow of what it once was. Everything is over fished. Beach replenishment is wrecking fish holding habitats offshore and over development has destroyed marshes that fish depend on. Weakfish used to be abundant, now they're gone. Stripers were wiped out, recovered, only to be over fished again. Drumfish are over fished now too. Sports fishermen need to live up to their name and focus on the sport of fishing and less on the keeping. Start releasing legal fish. You don't have to kill everything!
