Another storm is hitting us which will inevitably wash away a lot of sand on the beaches. Then there will be cries for more beach replenishment. It is time to stop wasting our tax dollars on beach replenishment! I don't care if all of the homes on the islands are swept into the ocean. Not my problem. Anyone living near the ocean or back bays should do so at their own risk and expense. There should be no tax payer funded beach replenishment or national flood insurance.
