After reading spouts, everyone is complaining about police, firefighters and nurses, and their salaries and benefits. They picked their careers to help people. Others chose their careers because they don't want to get involved and just care about making money, just like politicians running for office. So, why do they get free medical at the county and local level and get a salary, when they volunteered? Some collect two pensions, plus other benefits on top of everything they get on the taxpayers' dollar.
