Why doesn't the Herald post any of the first responders on fatal

Different organizations have different policies regarding release of information. Some initiate reports; some respond to our inquiries; some neither send reports nor respond to our inquiries. For practical matters, we rely primarily on submitted reports for most incidents. If you wish to receive more information about the contributions of particular organizations, please encourage them to submit timely reports to us.
