Marmora - I found a dog wandering on my street in Marmora Nov. 7 at 9 p.m. It was a black lab with no collar or ID. I contacted State Police who connected me to our animal control. I hated to let this poor dog go to the shelter, but I had no choice but to ask animal control to pick him up. I have two other dogs at my house that are not fond of other dogs. I am completely astounded that any responsible pet owner could not have proper external ID on their dogs. I am angry. Going to a shelter is a traumatic experience for a dog and a burden to the shelter. Put ID on your dogs and keep them safe!
