Times are very, very tough. We are facing an economic disaster as big or bigger than our health disaster. Folks are being given extended grace periods on mortgages and rents. Foreclosures have been put on hold. This may save some people. But, it will fail miserably if people who are able to pay ride the tide and don’t make their payments on time. I am just too skeptical of American greed to expect that people will not take advantage of this situation, just like they are not going along with full compliance of social distancing.
