It's really nice to see major retailers are announcing that they will be closed on Thanksgiving this year. Hopefully it sticks to every year. Black Friday (which I do see a name change coming soon) I just don't see happening this year or ever again to be honest. When I was a kid nothing was open on Thanksgiving. Supermarkets were closed by 5pm and no retailers were open. The only thing that was open was the movie theaters which we would go out to after dinner.
