Many people are aware of the BRAC1 +BRAC2 gene mutation tests for breast cancer. Very few people, even in the medical field, seem to know about the PALB2 test which is a test for a gene mutation that causes both breast and ovarian cancer. If your BRAC tests are negative, please ask for the PALB2 test. My getting that test may have saved my daughter’s life.
