Lower - Just like a mafia Don, countries like China, Russia, and Iran Rarely get their hands dirty. They operate through proxies, people and groups that do their dirty work for them. Unfortunately people are people, they are susceptible to corruption. It is only through oversight and punishment that corruption can be stopped or slowed. I’m hoping that members of our government are not involved in any corruption scandals with these countries because that would be treason. Even though we are not technically at war, this is a war of proxies, so we are fighting our enemies through others, the middlemen.
