Lower - It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if there were 100 lobbyists trying to keep financial education out of public schools. Think about it for a second, companies and even our own government have a vested interest in keeping people financially illiterate, and this is why a financial education must be introduced to children early. The world keeps inventing new ways to rip people off. We can’t count on the government they do it too, just look at the tax code, surely a flat rate would be easier. The downside is, if everybody lived within their means, our country would probably go under in a few months.
