Why can Florida, with a larger population than most of these sta

Lower twp - Why can Florida, with a larger population than most of these states that are still counting, get finish in one day and the others take several days? I just don't get it. When I was in High school I remember in the 80s they always had the outcome finished the next day. What has changed?
