When will people slow down on Stimpson Lane, which borders Lower

Lower Township - When will people slow down on Stimpson Lane, which borders Lower Township and West Cape May? There is no shoulder to walk on and the houses are close together with a speed limit of 35. My daughter was hit and our dog was killed. The police responding said it should be 25 mph, like most residential neighborhoods. Lower Township and Cape May need to make this happen before more are killed or injured. There needs to be a 'your speed is' sign and you can put it on my property.
