Lower Township - Voting against a school bond referendum does not make the voter "anti-school," just as voting yes doesn't make one "pro-child." Sure, the propaganda worked, along with holding it in the middle of the winter in a very short window of time. I have children in the district. They play sports. The field house will be of no benefit to them. Do you think an 80-by-100-foot space will be useful to a team with 30 plus kids? It is not a field house in the true sense, and will only be useful for its original intent, batting cages and wrestling mats. By the way, we already have these in our gyms.
