Family is great, but seeing that your widowed Mom is not taken advantage of by all the unprofessional contractors out there has its' own reward, and the house stays in good repair. Keeping the house to pass on to needy family works too. I say, use the existing zoning law to oust these smarties, who move their dump trucks in on residentially-zoned land, then build some low cost housing next to Grandma & Grandpa. That will also keep neighborhoods from deteriorating!
