Lower Township - There is too much emphasis on student test scores in public schools. No teacher has the luxury of selecting their students. You can't make them study, you can't make them care and you can't control their intelligence. No teacher should be judged by student test scores of any kind, whether it's a unit test, a state standardized test or an AP exam. Even smart students can have a bad day or just be unwilling to study. Every teacher does their best with the students they have in their class. Politicians don't understand this.
