Lower Township - There are no decent, affordable rental properties available offshore anymore for local, year-round residents. When you do find a rental property it's so rundown and way overpriced that no one can keep up with the high cost of rent, utilities and cable. Let's not forget the elderly that no longer can work and only live on Social Security once a month. There is an empty property next to the Social Security building that should be turned into low-income rental units and yet it just sits empty while people are living on the streets. Funny how vacationers always find rental properties.
