Lower Township - In response to the spout saying the contractors are paying for the police being flagmen: How much are they paying a day? Are they including their health care, auto insurance and pension plan? Seems like a cost of over $400 or more a day when you include all these costs. Is there nothing better for the police to do in that township that they are trained for? Can't they just hire flagmen and save money? It really shows how the local townships waste money on government workers that we, the taxpayers, pay the price for.
