Lower Township - The Recreation Department has embedded a plan within its 2016 budget to "maintain" the dune paths along the bay and add a boat ramp at Emerson. Where is the dune manager? How about a shore front management plan? Has the floodplain manager signed off on this plan? Why is the rec. dept. doing dune maintenance? What are their qualifications? Why can't L.T. figure out how to create a plan following the customary standards for a beach community? The bay front is a precious resource that should be cared for rather than exploited. Just do it right!
