Lower Township - A recent NJ.com article came out about Cape May County having one of the highest STD rates. Isn’t sex education still a thing in schools? Maybe stop having the uneducated breeding with multiple people, resulting in multiple fathers/children. We have people working dead-end jobs making minimum wage, and multiple children they can’t take care of. My tax dollars shouldn’t go to welfare for that. It’s bad enough we have a bad reputation for the drug usage in this area, now we have STD rates through the roof! Where are people’s morals and dignity anymore?

Moderator's Note:
According to an Aug. 2 NJ.com article, "Taking a look across New Jersey, STD rates per 100,000 residents have increased from 2012 to 2016 in all counties except Mercer." Cape May County had the largest increase, with 84.8 percent, according to the report.
