Lower Township - Re: septic and cesspool waste disposal systems from the 1960’s and 70’s, it's true, many residents have city water, but do not have city sewer. Fifty years later, major site repairs are needed to fix leaking systems, which is typically done at the time of resale. I don’t know what existing percent of systems would pass the test, but we all can have our opinion as to what that might harm.
