Lower Township - Now that the sidewalk on the Rt. 109 bridge going into Cape May is complete, here are my suggestions to improve the crosswalks exiting on the Cape May side. As the sidewalk ends, white lines need to be painted on the road on the ramp exiting the bridge (signs already exist). White lines need to extend the bike/pedestrian walkway past Lucky Bones to the bridge walkway crosswalk. This will prevent vehicles from entering areas where bikes/pedestrians are walking. The existing crosswalk at Lucky Bones needs to have handicap ramps installed on both sides of the crosswalk. Expedite this to save lives.
