Although, sometimes I don't agree with the amount of pay, they are essentially responding to the same calls for service, just less frequently. You need to clarify your statement about "drawing their revolvers." Officers down in Cape May County draw their weapons very frequently; however, they fire them at a threat less than a city police officer does. Additionally, no one carries revolvers anymore, it's not feasible.
