Lower Township - The Lower Township Zoning and Planning Board seemed to make a lot of excuses for the powerful local investors seeking 21 homes on Shawmount Ave. The other homes on Shawmount are one-acre lots, so zoning had the authority to make these lots one acre too. The former "approved" townhouse development if clustered would be more desirable, because it could preserve open space and trees. No planning school would ever approve this plan. Their lack of planning has increased our taxes, and created endless blacktop poisoning our fish and clams. They obviously are not planning for their children's future.
