Lower Township - Lower Township police need to check the laws for their actions. A background check takes a 30-second computer check. I checked this with a lawyer, so why does it now take two-plus months for a firearms identification card or a pistol permit, when Giffords Law states, "If an applicant is qualified, those permits shall be issued within 30 days for NJ residents." Their blatant disregard for law-abiding citizens is wrong!
