Lower Township - The leadership, not the dedicated members of the Lower Township Police Department, must explain to the taxpayers why the drop-off box for unused drugs is not available for easy use during renovations. I tried to drop off a full, unused prescription of Oxycodone and was told to wait outside locked doors after speaking to the dispatch staff behind the window. Despite entry and exit by several staff, I was not let in. Another person showed up while I was waiting and after they also spoke to the staff at the window we waited about 40 minutes and gave up to try again later.
