Lower Township - Kids on bicycles are out in droves now that school is out! Not all of them know that NJ has laws governing the use of bikes, and that they are written for the safety of all. One thing in particular is the need for them, at least on heavily trafficked roads, to ride their bikes with the direction of traffic, not against it. I use my 20-mph-e-bike, usually on the shoulder, and cringe at the thought of a collision with someone traveling the wrong way. I am especially cautious around bends. NJ.gov allows one to download a Bicycling Manual. Parents: please, please take note!
