Lower Township - In June 1944, high school and college-aged kids stormed the beaches of Normandy and died by the thousands. But they didn't stop or run. They rid the world of Nazism. I can only imagine the courage it took to hit those beaches. Truly the greatest generation. Today we still have some brave men and women serving in the Middle East. But we also have kids of the same age who were too distraught to even go to school because their candidate lost the election. God help us.
