Lower Township - Joe Manchin, a staunch Democrat, has acknowledged that the Democratic Party as it currently exists is a dead end and has lost touch with reality. His announcement that he is considering leaving and becoming an independent should be a wake up call, but of course it won’t be. There comes a time in a persons life where they look in a mirror and ask themselves “Is this who I want to be, and do I really want to be a part of this?” And do I want to “Sell my soul for money?” I have left well paying jobs when I didn’t like what I saw. I could have more, but I need to like what I see in that mirror.
