Lower Township - It is time for the National Flood Program to stop. Storm after storm, and taxpayers' dollars paying to rebuild properties most of us cannot afford. If you want to live and own vacation homes in Cape May, the Wildwoods, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle and Avalon, pay your own flood insurance. Maybe Mother Nature is sending a message, we were never meant to live on the barrier islands. This is not sour grapes, this is like the welfare program for Section 8, all dressed up with a different name.
