Lower Township - I'd like to humor the spouter who blames Republicans for the unemployment rate in 2009 and credits Obama for lowering it. It was caused by Democrat policies that allowed people to buy houses they could not afford. President Bush tried to have the policies reviewed and changed, but was met with fierce opposition from Democrats. How quickly they all forget. Today, there are 94 million Americans out of work, credit Obama. Because they are not counted if they have stopped looking for work, the phony rate is 5.1 percent. In actuality, it is about 11 percent. Amazing how they change the facts.
