Lower Township - I want to vehemently oppose the destruction of the playground on the corner of Seaview and Rochester avenues in Lower Township to make way for condos. I understand completely that as part-time residents and property owners “on the other side of the bridge,” our concerns may seem less important to the municipality than the tax ratables generated by these new condominiums, but this action by Lower Township to eliminate this playground seems to be unwarranted, unjustified, and just plain cruel. Whether the property is being sold, swapped, or just given away, the entire concept is an insult.
