Lower Township - I want to thank the Lower Township Police and Shore Animal Control for helping rescue a dog that had been left outside during these horrible weather conditions. I called police and spoke to a dispatcher who showed genuine concern. She gave me the number for the animal control company who responded and 30 minutes later this poor dog was inside the house. I don't know how anyone could leave their dog outside during a storm like this, but at least it is good to know we have a police department and animal control who truly care about the residents and their pets.
