Lower Township - I got something for climate change people to think about. As a former Retiree from the Cape May Lewes Ferry, I'll give you some easy simple statistics. Lets say a Ferry burns a 1000 gallons of diesel a day, (but it's much more than that). That's 365,000.00 of diesel a year, X 60 years that the Ferry has been in operation and thats 21,900,000.00 gallons of fuel. NOW the old steam boats stayed running 24/7 365 days a year. So, that figure I just showed you should be 10 times that and don't forget 3 running ferries all summer. How come your not SCREAMING at the Ferry?
