Lower Township - Divorce rate is at 90 percent when marriage involves law enforcement. This is an alarming statistic when families are broken up after law enforcement officers get into this occupation. We know some officers who, I would say, I'm not too fond of, but are excellent fathers. Then we know a few who have been able to walk away from their kids and spouse without a single feeling for the destruction they have caused. With a 90 percent divorce rate, which is not normal, this occupation causes turmoil to many children and these officers willing to walk away to be happy.
