Lower Township - County politicians and business owners: What happened to health concerns and health laws regarding dogs? If dogs are going to be on our beaches, they can hardly be advertised as "clean" or "pristine." Even if you put aside bites, aggression or worse from dogs, there is still the matter of diseases, parasites, bacteria, viruses, etc., left behind from dogs. Merely picking up waste does not stop the infestation into sand and surf. Do you think people want their children playing in that? "No Dogs Allowed" shows respect for your voters and tourists. The same applies to hotels and restaurants.
