Lower Township - Amazing how clueless most Democrats are about guns. What is called an assault rifle is just an ordinary rifle with a few accessories on it to make it look meaner and easier to hold. It is still semi automatic rifle, which means you have to pull the trigger each time you wish to fire a shot. Many democrats confuse these with fully automatic weapons, which are illegal to own without a very difficult to get special permit. Banning these so called assault rifles does nothing to improve safety, as it does nothing more than a regular semi automatic rifle. It is empty legislation to satisfy the base
