Lower Township - Action needs to be taken to make road improvements to reduce the weekend traffic jams that occur from and to Route 55 on Dennisville Road, Route 83 and Route 47. If Route 55 cannot or will not be extended, at least a traffic study needs to be conducted to determine road improvements that would ease this problem. It is ridiculous to spend an hour and a half or more in traffic just to get to and from Route 55. Why Senator Van Drew and others did not apply for the stimulus money for road improvements for this project is beyond me. It would help tourism immensely.
