Where is the argument? This is common sense. If we didn't build the jetties and pave roadway 50 years ago, there would be no bay beach or dunes left to protect. The sidewalk/seawall would only reinforce and protect the roadway and houses, not destroy the man made dunes. There are seawalls and sidewalks up and down the coast for a reason. Not to mention, I was dodging bikers and joggers all weekend, doing 25 mph along Shore Drive. We already paid into the open space funding, but was the only township not taking any of the money!
