What gets me about these schools hiring people as subs is that they are being put on schedules, as they are employees. For example, there are many positions being filled on a daily basis to fill retirements rather than hire full-time employees to replace them. Why are the unions not seeing this and doing something about it? If they schedule and control when a sub shows up, they are employees.
