They left him there so people could throw stones at him, mock him, and make him carry his own cross to his death, wearing a crown of thorns. They thought they were better than Jesus, yet it was obvious when looking at his deeds that they were not. You attempted to use the name of Jesus to prove a political point, never recognizing ironically, that you just proved ours. Ring a bell? Probably not. Start over.
