Time is on the side of those who work the machine of government. Elected officials take the taxpaying public for granted. Let time pass and the taxpayers will forget our misdeeds. There are several issues that need answers; such as why was a personal credit card used? Who authorized the purchase? Why did the manager say it was an honest mistake? Why did the mayor chastise his colleague for a clearly questionable transaction? Why was the solicitor silent about the situation? Why did the in-house eng. leave? We need transparency!
