Those of us who live on the western end of New England Road seem to be orphans, overlooked when it comes to road-clearing. The township plows come down Bayshore and turn right on New England Rd., leaving us “adrift” literally. After the snowstorm, our end of the street was left with 6 foot drifts over the road. No one could pass through until late Monday afternoon. Fortunately we have 3 neighbors with heavy plows and equipment that came to the rescue. The situation could be life threatening if we were in need of an ambulance as we have residents with heart problems and other health issues.
