There is no faster way to ruin a beautiful area than to promote tourism. This county would be a lot better off without tourism. Of course, there would be less jobs, but that's the point. The last thing this county needs is more jobs which attract even more people. The county's environment is always sacrificed for tourism. Without tourism, this county would be a nicer, quieter place to live with less crime and traffic. Yes, a primarily farming and fishing-based economy with a smaller population would be a good thing for the county.
