There are a lot of empty parking lots near the Del. Bay beaches. An alternate to building parking spaces and putting in meters along the bay would be to have beach goers park at these empty lots. A seasonal hop-on, hop-off trolley between Beach Drive and these parking lots could be arranged. This plan would reduce parking issues and traffic concerns. In addition, it would encourage use of the local stores to pick up a sandwich, water or sunscreen. No tax dollars spent on cement and the beach is unharmed. This plan sets the township up for success.
