Teacher Appreciation Week was May 2-6. What teachers would really appreciate is better working conditions. No matter what school you're in, you're dutied to death. Lunch duty, hall duty, bus duty, homeroom, etc. You don't have any real prep time. Fairness would be nice too. Teachers who are chummy with administration get the best classes and always get good evaluations. Those who aren't get the worst classes and bad evaluations. Teachers would also like to feel that administration has their back when dealing with bad students. No teacher should have to tolerate disrespectful students.
