To the spouter complaining that poor kids go w/o lunch in schools. Wrong. Taxpayers foot the bill for not only lunch but breakfast too. Backpacks of food are even sent home over the weekend. SNAP benefits are apportioned according to the family size, so the breakfast and backpacks aren't really necessary-- unless those "parents" are being neglectful, in which case family services ought to step in because who knows what other abuses are occurring.
