When Obama took office John Boehner stood on the steps of the Capital and declared that the Republicans would assure that he would be a one term president and all his legislation would be stopped in its tracks. The difference? They attended to governance, Trump whined about how unfairly he was being treated. Repeat a lie often enough and lots of people will believe it is true.
