Several months ago I called the town about replacing the water main shutoff latch that was several inches deep in the ground. This latch should be ground level in case there's a problem with the pipe in the house bursting and plumbing problems. It is almost the second week of Jan. 2014. I ordered this job in Aug. 2013.
