Lower Township Schools are in the middle of a budget crisis. Jobs are being cut yet one administrator is being given a golden parachute similar to private industry. If they are retiring because of inappropriate actions, why renew their contract July 1 ? This will enable them to reload their vacation - sick time allowing them to collect full salary for 2 months to increase their pension before the Sept 1 retirement. The district will have to hire a replacement before September 1 so they are paying two people, one that is working and one that’s surfing. Let’s not reward bad behavior.
